Churches don’t have to stay the same. If we recognise that our church’s present structure and approaches aren’t achieving what Jesus wanted for his church, we can try something different.

A church which doesn’t follow one traditional pattern of worship, but offers five different styles of meeting to provide for different people’s needs.
A christian visits a cafe every week. He meets others who go there regularly. Conversations start. A group begins. People who would never go to a church join in Bible discussion and prayer …. and come to believe.
And then another group starts …. and another.

About 50 recent university graduates want to do more mission than their churches allow, so they start a network that has grown into 200 groups caring for people in many different life situations.
If so many people don’t want to go to a conventional church, maybe Christians could get to know them, build friendships, listen and then start a new way of doing church – built around meals, community, encouragement and fun. What’s not to like?
